Single Visit Crowns

We are now able to produce a new crown for you the same day it is prepared. This technology, known as CEREC uses a state of the art CAD/CAM machine to scan your prepared tooth and mill a crown or inlay, often while you wait. The porcelain materials used for this cosmetic procedure are much stronger than conventional porcelains. This allows them to be used even on back teeth. Advantages of this technology are:

• Faster turnaround time. Crowns and Onlays can often be completed at the same visit.
• Porcelain inlays and onlays are more conservative of tooth structure than crowns. They can actually increase a tooth's resistance to fracture.
• All porcelain Crowns and Onlays are more esthetic than their metallic counterparts.
